Ability Not Disability In Workplace. The general objective of the AnDiW project is to support employers in training and  further training activities in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development (LEO-SpObj-c) without exclusion disabled people.

The operational objective is the elaboration of the distance educational course, available in a CD-ROM and paper form, aimed to increase and update the knowledge of the employers, human resources managers, recruitment companies and trainers specialised in human resources management in the field of recruitment and employment of people with disabilities. Thus, AnDiW will contribute to the acquisition and use of the new awareness about providing the efficiency recruitment and employment of the people with disabilities, taking into account several topics as: the European Policies to promote employment and social inclusion; the Psychological factors and disability; the development of appropriate conditions in the workplace for people with disabilities; the possibilities for employers to co-operate with educational, governmental institutions, employment agencies and social organizations etc.

Moreover, since it is a distance education course, it will support the development of contents, services, pedagogical and lifelong learning practices based on Information and communication technologies, because the essence of the distance education is the innovation in the training process: the training management do not only depend on training provider but it is a responsibility of the learner who contributes to the training process developing new contents, learning environment and resources (LEO-OpObj-6).
